Career in the Making

I have horrible allergies to the point that occasionally I get a flare up that includes severe headache with nausea and my eyes swell up like a puffer fish when they are scared. Its not a cute site and looks much worse than it feels. Well, I got a little flare up today and Abbey came right to my rescue. She rubbed my back and tummy to make me feel better and got me an ice pack for my eyes. She got into bed with me and said she would stay until I felt better. She said she was considering being a nurse when she grows up and I think it would be very fitting for her. It would make sense since we have several nurses already in the family. Grandma Betty would be so proud!
